Corinna Stevenson, B.Ed., MATP - Ecopsychologist, teacher, mentor, guide, cancer initiate, Founder of Dragonfly Healing

Corinna is the creator of Dragonfly and co-founder of CanAdventure Education. For over a decade she has been guiding people through personal transformation in wilderness settings. A gifted ecopsychologist and rites of passage guide, Corinna brings much heart and humour to her work. Her well-founded belief in the restorative powers of nature and the unlimited potential of humans are themes that characterize all of her endeavors.

As an aboriginal woman of Métis descent, Corinna weaves cultural teachings into her workshops, inspiring personal growth and a love and respect for the natural world.

Through her personal journey with multiple myeloma, a plasma cell cancer, Corinna is also called to guide cancer initiates and people in relationship with grief and loss through their unique healing journeys.  

Corinna holds a Bachelor's in education from McGill University and a Master’s of Arts in transpersonal psychology with a concentration in ecopsychology from Naropa University. She has also completed masters level clinical counselling courses in counselling theory, family systems therapy, group therapy, and research methods, and has trained with the Vancouver School of Narrative Therapy. Corinna is a recognized facilitator of The Work That Reconnects and a Level 3 Reiki Usui Practitioner.


Wes Gietz - B.A. M.Sc. MP.A.Guide and Mentor, Founder of Windwalker

Wes Gietz has studied and practiced natural skills and beliefs for over forty years, with pauses as required by the necessities of love and life. He has been taught by Tom Brown Jr. and Native teachers the skills of survival and living, awareness, and philosophy, the ceremonies of daily life, and the ceremonies and responsibilities of the sweat lodge. He has studied Coyote Mentoring with Jon Young and Wilderness Awareness School, and is regarded as an elder by many.  He honours these ways by keeping them for the generations yet to be born, and has taught them in workshops and at gatherings since 1993.

In his former professional life, he has a Bachelor's degree in English and Master's degrees in biochemistry and public administration, and 15 years of consulting experience in training, strategic planning, and human resource management. He has taught at the University of Victoria and North Island College.

He is bilingual in French and English, has very little hair on top, and is omnivorous.



Helen Pattinson, B.A., M.A. - Guide , Founder of Inspired Earth Projects

Helen is a passionate dancer, yogi and artist with a love of wild nature. As Founder of Inspired Earth Projects, she creates safe spaces for people to come together to connect, share and be inspired. Helen uses experiential art and gentle bodywork to creatively connect to our true nature. She brings a love of wildness and authenticity to her work, and is most at home getting her feet and hands dirty. 

Helen is an artist with a BA in Fine Arts and an MA in Arts & Ecology. Born in England, she now lives on Vancouver Island and loves the wild places of West Coast BC. Her passions include dancing, hiking, sculpting, drumming, sitting around the fire with friends, and river swimming with her adopted pack of dogs. She worked as an instructor at Outward Bound in Scotland and has traveled extensively - including rock climbing in Turkey, Iran, India, Tibet, and China. 

Helen recently traveled in the High Andes of Peru with the Q'ero Tribe, participating in ceremonies in ancient Incan sites. She is fascinated by rites of passage and ancient wisdom for modern times, and recently went on a Vision Quest in the red desert of Arizona.
